For more than 30 years, Dennis Flaherty has continually perfected his craft photographing in over a dozen countries and territories. The Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. has two of Dennis's photos on permanent display.

The United States Postal Service honored Dennis Flaherty with the release of a stamp featuring his photograph, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. The photo was taken at dawn from the Snake River Overlook and the stamp’s image is reminiscent of the famous Grand Teton view captured by Ansel Adams in his classic 1942 black and white photograph. This 98-cent international letter stamp is part of the Scenic American Landscape Series in the U.S. Postal Service’s stamp program.
